We have made it to our destination-
Seneca Lake, NY. We stopped briefly at my parents house to break up the trip so Amira wasn't in the car too long. She did very well occupying herself, though I guess she is done with her afternoon naps...
The sunsets at my parent's house are so pink! The are off the Hudson river, and they experience the beautiful colors of the the Hudson River School paintings.
Here we are in wine country! We plan on tasting, drinking, collecting. We also want to explore the gorges in the area. We are staying behind this vineyard on the lake, and have been walking Amira up and down it in the morning to get her to nap again. We are basically on a cliff (pictures to come) so the walk is pretty steep. I guess I'll be getting a work out this vacation, which is a good pair with the scenery!
