Today is Adrian and my 1 year anniversary (as well as Obama's). And while many are pointing out the short comings of this past year...on this winter day, I prefer to remember summer evenings. Adrian would come home from work, and I was still on leave. We had time to eat something and take a walk on Castle Island before the sun completely set. Though I do remember how quickly the sun seemed to fade. I wanted to make the most of everyday when all my time was mine-but I waited for Adrian to do something as a family. Who would have thought that while I was off work, I would still watch the clock for 5:00pm? But a new baby comes with work and recovery better handled together.
